The 203 dpi printhead, coupled with the capability to accurately maintain critical print registration, enables the M-4208 to produce labels for pharmeceuticals, shipping and inventory control. The M-4208 is also an excellent product for generating intricate DataMatrix or PDF-417 bar code labels. The metal cabinet provides a reliable platform and with high print speeds the M-4208 won't keep you waiting for high-resolution labels. The printer's the ability to interface with an existing or new system is what enables truly seamless integration into any application. Standard connectivity interfaces for the M-4208 include an RS-232 serial port, Parallel port and a USB port. Network users have many options, including an optional fully integrated, highly functional internal Ethernet card, or a more economical external Ethernet port. Datamax also offers DMXConfig, a desktop configuration tool that allows users to retrieve, modify, and update the printer's configuration without entering the printer's menu. Printer settings can be saved and sent to multiple printers if the application requires.
